             LEATHERSTOCKING  CORVETTE  CLUB 
               September 20, 2023   
Meeting was called to order by Pres. Dick Wooden at Pizza Land Restaurant  In Oneonta with 14 members present. Pres. Dick welcomed back Anne DiPaolo.  Minutes and Treasurer’s Report was read and approved.  After some discussion, it was decided to hold next summer meetings alternating between Fred’s Inn, Park Place in Norwich and Pizza Land in Oneonta.  Bowling Green trip has been cancelled due to manufactures strike. Can’t depend on Corvette factory being in operation. Maybe next year.  Pres. Dick Wooden reported that our club membership for the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green has been raised from $150 to $250.  After discussion, it was decided to drop our club membership. 
It was decided to keep our club web site operating as is. Webmaster Ed Smith reported it gets several hits. Club dues are due October 1st, $20 single, $30 couple. Voluntary donation of $25 per car for food pantry donation in December.   Mark you calendars for Club annual Christmas Party on Friday, December 1, 2023 at the River Club in Afton. Cocktails at 5:00pm, dinner around 6:00pm. Dinner, Sea to Land Buffet, $33/person (seniors $32) We will not exchange gifts this year. We will be collecting for TOYS FOR TOTS and donate to area food banks.  Next Event is our Fall Cruise on Sunday, October 8th. Ed Smith will host a cruise into the            Catskill Mts area.  Meet at Speedway gas station in Sidney at 9:00am.              More info will be sent by email.  Next club meeting October 18th at Park Place in Norwich.  50/50 Raffle won by Dick Fleming.
